exBinog is an independent online casino review site. We test, score and write about licensed casinos — focusing on crypto-first operators, but covering any casino that meets our licensing standard. Our goal is simple: give players the information they need to choose a casino without gambling on the choice itself.
This page explains who we are, why we exist, how we make money, and how we keep our reviews honest. It is a short read — and, if you are deciding whether to trust a review on this site, an important one.
Why we exist
The online casino review space has a credibility problem. Many “review” sites are affiliate pages in disguise: they rank casinos by how much commission they pay, not by how good the casino is. Bonuses are misrepresented, licences are glossed over, and slow withdrawals are quietly ignored because the operator pays well.
We started exBinog because we wanted a review site we would actually use ourselves — one that tells you when a casino is bad, not just when it pays. That means publishing negative findings even when they cost us commission, and stating plainly what we have tested and what we have not.
Our full scoring methodology is public on the How We Rate page. If a casino scores badly there, it is because of the criteria — not because the commission was too low.
What we cover
exBinog currently focuses on crypto-first online casinos — platforms where deposits and withdrawals are handled primarily through cryptocurrency, and where provably fair gaming is a core part of the product. This focus reflects where the market is going, not a limitation of the methodology.
We review casinos that:
- hold a valid gambling licence from a recognised authority (Tier 1 or Tier 2 — see our licensing policy);
- are open to players in at least one major regulated market;
- can be verified through public registers or direct testing;
- publish clear bonus terms, payment information and responsible-gambling tools.
We do not review unlicensed casinos, casinos we cannot verify, or casinos that refuse to disclose basic information about their licence and operator entity.
How we stay independent
exBinog is funded by affiliate commission — when a reader signs up at a casino through our links, we may earn a commission. This is the standard model for review sites, and it is not inherently dishonest — but it only works if the site is transparent about it.
Three rules govern our commercial relationships:
- A casino cannot pay for a higher score. Scores are calculated from nine weighted criteria — see How We Rate. Commission rate is not one of them.
- A casino cannot pay for a higher position in a top-list. Rankings are ordered by score, not by payout.
- A casino cannot pay to have a negative finding removed. If a casino has slow withdrawals or unfair bonus terms, that stays in the review.
Our full Affiliate Disclosure explains exactly which casinos we have commercial relationships with and how the commission model works. If you want to know whether a specific casino pays us before you click, email us and we will tell you directly.
Our editorial team
Every review and top-list on exBinog is written or edited by a named person with a visible profile. We do not publish anonymous casino reviews — if a review exists on this site, you can see who wrote it and who fact-checked it.
Marcus Reed — Senior Casino Analyst
Marcus covers crypto casino reviews, provably fair gaming, payment testing and licence verification. He has worked in online gambling since 2014 and has been reviewing casinos full-time since 2017. Full profile.
Elena Voss — Managing Editor
Elena fact-checks every review before publication — licence numbers, bonus terms, payment details and the claims operators make about themselves. She has worked in iGaming content since 2018 and enforces YMYL compliance across the site. Full profile.
The full editorial team is listed on our Authors page.
Our editorial principles
Five principles guide every review we publish:
- Sources before claims. Every factual claim in a review should be traceable to an operator’s published terms, a public licence register, or independent complaint data. If we cannot source it, we do not claim it.
- Tested language, tested. When we say “we tested a withdrawal”, we mean we tested it — not that we read the operator’s marketing. Every tested claim is dated.
- Corrections in public. If a review contains an error, we fix it and note what changed. Contact us if you find something wrong.
- No pay-to-play. Commission never influences scores, rankings or the removal of negative findings.
- Player-first framing. Reviews are written for the player deciding where to deposit — not for the casino’s marketing team.
What we are not
To prevent any confusion:
- We are not a casino. exBinog does not accept deposits, offer games, or hold player funds. We are a review site.
- We are not a regulator. We cannot resolve disputes between you and a casino. If you have a dispute with an operator, contact the casino directly, then its licensing authority if unresolved.
- We are not a legal or financial advisor. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Gambling laws differ by jurisdiction — check your local rules before playing anywhere.
- We are not responsible for third-party sites. Links to casinos go to external sites operated by their own teams. Their terms, privacy policies and behaviour are their responsibility, not ours.
Responsible gambling
Online gambling carries real risk. If you play, set limits before you start, and stop if it stops being entertainment. exBinog supports responsible gambling tools and links to independent help organisations on our Responsible Gambling page.
If you are in a jurisdiction where online gambling is not permitted, do not register at any casino reviewed on this site. It is your responsibility to check local law before playing.
